It's not true that if it doesn't involve a woman as victim it is not DV. It's not true that the victims have to be opposite genders.

I know a friend who quit work at a battered women's shelter. She said there were three coworkers who were predatory lesbians, targeting women coming into the shelter when they were at their most vulnerable. She would hear them laughing and comparing conquest stories. When she complained to the boss she was told to shut up and quit being homophobic.
True, it's only one incident, but it shows these things can actually happen.

I would call it on topic. Whether its a Female or Male Shelter, there should not be predatory people taking advantage of them.

Wow! This is a difficult topic and no one wants to see predatory behavior by anyone regardless of orientation.
