I worked as a nurse in Navy, VA, and civilian hospitals; I was on the staff of 3 Army, 1Navy, 1VA, and 8 civilian hospitals, as well as pulling temporary duty as an agency nurse at several more. Counting military experience, I worked ER, first responder ambulance, step down, and ICU over a 30 year career. I also took a break and worked security at Hughes Helicopters in Culver City, CA, for about 18 months. Hughes was developing the chain gun and the Apache gunship during this period. I retired for medical reasons in 2002.
