With all of the Name Calling and Destruction Occuring these days. Maybe people need to listen to a Self-Taught EXPERT. Daryl Davis said that it is a must to Respect the Other and Have a Conversation. Through Daryl's ability to have conversations peacefully he was able to convert 200 Clan Members.

”Ignorance breeds fear. We fear those things we do not understand. If we don’t keep that fear in check, that fear in turn, will breed hatred. Because we hate those things that frighten us. If we don’t keep that hatred in check, that hatred in turn, will breed destruction. ‪We want to destroy those things, that we hate. Why? Because it causes us to be afraid.”‬ What a testament!

Very powerful, unfortunately very few will be able to respect the fact that we all have a different opinion. I struggled with that with two of my co-workers. They want me to respect their view, but refuse to acknowledge that I or any other person have a different view. They believe that if you are not with them then you are against them. However this changed once the tables were turned, they needed me to see and understand a certain point of view they had. I was not willing to acknowledge their view, for whatever reason my opinion was very important to them. We all spoke, and then they realized what I had been trying to tell them for a while. We all need to learn from Mr. Davis.
