Good Red Friday morning, Rallypoint. Today's Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) is titled "A Harvest Moon." While tonight's full moon is the Harvest Moon for most of us, it would be the Worm Moon (heralding the coming of Spring) for Cynthia Croft. The moon is at its apogee now, making it seem a bit smaller as it is furthest away from Earth. Look opposite the setting sun today, and you'll see the full moon coming up over the horizon.
