I expect you are open to learning about new ideas, new technology, and new experiences. No doubt your willingness to treat each person with respect, including those with opposing viewpoints, is worthy of emulation. Your honesty, personal integrity, your courage of convictions and strong character is founded on the solid rock of faith in the LORD. Since God justified each of HIS adopted sons and daughters at our salvation, HE sees no offense within us. Confessing to the LORD frees us practically and forgiving others liberates us. I pray that we demonstrate love as we share truth or our perspective. I pray that YOU bless each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who reads this prayer or listens to it with sufficient stamina, humility, trustworthiness, and moral courage and sufficient fruit of the Spirit goodness, self-control and kindness. Strengthen the foundation of faith in each of us, enable us to share transparently, and motivate each of us to be helpful and open to helping anybody YOU bring across our path in this life of faith in YOU. ‘And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. [Galatians 6:9-10 ESV]

I pray that you and I heed the Word of the LORD: ‘Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love. [Ephesians 4:15-16 ESV]

I lift the homeless veterans and family members, those suffering PTSD/TBI and other mental afflictions, the veterans who are hospitalized, and those veterans and family members in hospice to YOU, LORD. I pray for an outpouring of compassion and love to each one of these people by members of the body of Christ in close proximity and outpoured prayers from intercessors. ‘Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind. Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing. For “Whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit; let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” [1 Peter 3:8-12 ESV

I pray for genuine increase of openness and honesty for trustworthy legislators, judges, justices, government executives, appointed officials and leaders of non-profits. Let YOUR light shine through them to convict those with less scruples among their peers. Draw as many to YOUR light as YOU are willing and use each to serve as good or bad examples to enable YOUR adopted sons and daughters to learn as much as we can. ‘Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.’ [Ephesians 4:15-16 ESV]

I pray LORD that YOU reveal to YOUR prayer warriors who we should intercede for and what we should pray for. Those of us mature in the faith recognize HIS voice. I pray that each of us is open to the Holy Spirit’s leading and that we instantly respond to HIS prompting. ‘be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart, giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.' Ephesians 5:18b-21 ESV]

I pray that you and your family members sleep well Wednesday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Thursday morning.
