I’m cautious of any therapies that alter reality in a person’s mind or through their eyes. I fear there could be potential for brainwashing or giving an increased desire to the client for nonreality.
Others opinions ? Maybe it helped someone? SGT ANN CECIL?
Then You're Gonna Love This One:
And There Were Others as Well.
I'll Make It As Short As I Can:
#1.. Civilian Psychiatrist Diagnosed Me As Being Bi-Polar...
#2.. I Knew I Wasn't, So I Signed Up For My VA Benefit's To Be Properly Diagnosed.
With this feeling, "I Had No Mental Health Issues"...
Our Dad Was Bi-Polar, So I KNOW What It IS & DOES.
#3.. Civilian Had Issued Prescriptions, Which I Took,
#4... VA Doctors Didn't Bother Checking Me Out And Reissued Medications.
#5.. YEARS Went By.. I Kept Getting Worse & Worse.. ER Visits Regularly,
Along With Hospitalization. Multiple Doctors Rotated IN Then OUT Of The VA...
#6.. I Was A Basket Case, Being Suicidal Included.
#7.. Dr. Gray Was Next In Line ~~ After YEARS Of Others As Well.
#8.. He SOLVED The Issue In UNDER 5 Minutes ~~ "Stop Taking The Medications"...
#9.. I Was FINE ~~ Medications Caused My Insanity.... "
Son-Of A-Betch" , And I'm STILL Angry, As The VA Ruined Over 20 Years Of My life
#10.. THE END

There are some interesting concepts and applications here. But, I can't see myself allowing the VA to use them with, or on, me.

The VA should start by solving all sorts of its own problems…

I could'nt even get into the VA for several years until after my ETS but now they are a pretty good outfit. I had a constant migraine headache for over 2 and a half years. The VA finally found some meds to stop it which I am very thankful. They tried all of this wierd therapy at the pain center. It was all hocus pocus bullshit and didn't help at all and made the headaches worse. Maybe it helped some people and the staff there was nice but this new therapy didn't work at all for me. It was actual meds( Aimovig) that finally worked, not this new age bullshit.

Different treatments work for different people since the etiology of the pain differs

Sounds like a pinched nerve in your neck or inner ear issue. Meds are a band-aid that's all.
