Good R.E.D. Friday Morning Maj William W. 'Bill' Price and an interesting view of Orion reflected in the waters of the Vitrupe River, Latvia... This wasn't quite what I had imagined, but the image is quite striking... I researched and found a video which physically shows Orion Rising from lower left to upper right... Centered in the video at about the 16 second mark... It is quite a great sight...

From the Youtube Post:
"First time lapse in Southern Alberta dark sky area. Orion rises from left to right and out of sight across the view. Sirius is accompanied by Jupiter. Exposure was 30 seconds at f/4.5 ISO 3200 on a Nikon D5000. Set and forget. Or in this case, go to bed. Check result in morning. Love it.

This is the winter constellation. High in the sky on the night I was born. Some say we come from the Orion Nebula, the Jewel in Orion's sword. Betelgeuse and Rigel are two of the major stars that make up the constellation." - Doug Bowman
