MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D.
Congratulations to the others. I maintain a reading and video wishlist on Amazon. Now if we could dial down the inflation rate.

RallyPoint News Sergeant/E-5 was the most challenging but rewarding, I had to overcome a confidence problem and lead by example as a Sergeant/Professional Noncommissioned Officer, which enhanced my career as a leader.

Without a doubt it was Private (E-1). Going through boot camp was hell but earning that Eagle-Globe-Anchor and the title United States Marine was the most rewarding thing ever. Graduating from MCRD trumps my graduation from DeVry and East Tennessee State University.

PFC Donnie Harold Harris - Yep, that's about it. I was a nobody when I joined the Marine. I became somebody after I earned the title.

I agree with you! Basic Training was a surreal experience. I went through with 47 women and it was rough. I never knew some women could be so bad and yet there were some women who were so good. I worked in a factory of women and never came up with any of these situations, but never lived with them either. LOL!

Sgt Chuck Gardner
I was a Jet Engine Mechanic 1964-68 and being in a critical career field, rank came very quickly. I stayed just 4 years and was just becoming eligible for SSGT when I was discharged. I was TDY most of my career to Vietnam, Thailand, Okinawa, and Korea and served a tour at CCKAB in Taiwan. If I had decided to stay, I think rank would have come fairly quickly during the Vietnam era and would probably have slowed down some in my last decade of service.
