On January 19, 2025 i parked on an alley of K Street, and used my cane with VA issued backbrace, [some snow & freezing rain] to make my way to the Capital One Arena to see Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and family members of the Trump family. On the way in I shared my faith in Christ with many using 3rd John 2 'Beloved I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health as it goes with your soul.' I shared that verse with escalator people helping us to get to the top [they were all believers in Christ. I arrived late [DC transportation confiscated my Daily Wire cup] When it was over I made my way back to K-Street, I learned the SUV was towed off. I made my way to the Asbury Methodist Church to get warm. It was closed, I made my way down the icy steps, I called my wife from the bottom step [10 inches off the sidewalk] I slipped and fell backwards, my jump school training and combatives training, instinctively had me fall on my right side, before I hit my head on the frozen dirt, and my back on the sidewalk. My backbrace helped my back [fractured L-2] and much damage to my right side especially right thing and upper leg. The military and police had an ambulance pick me up to take to to Georgetown MedStar emergency room. The ambulance drivers from Arlington wheeled me in on a gurney by 1830, I was admitted at 0400 on Monday. CT Scan of head - no new damage, CT Scan of whole back [fractured L2 and confirmation of my Cervical spine damage [scheduled for April 2025]. While in the ER I shared my faith and that verse with Special Police, nurses, techs and doctors. While waiting, I struck up a conversation with a black lady who was raised by cruel family members. She did not learn about grace until she was 60 years old. We discussed viral joy, peace, grace and being able to see the LORD in all HIS glory with our reborn body, eyes, My pelvic bones were okay, I helped the X-Ray techs laugh. X-rays of my femur. I substituted Lemur and that started to make them laugh I kelp it up for a while . My adopted son sent an Uber to pick me up. He also had faith. I was in and out of Emergency rooms, blood in intestines, etc.
