We keep seeing this over and over again...if you don't teach your child right from wrong, bad things will eventually happen.

A statement I heard from an acquaintance of mine who worked for the Brown Sheriff's Office:

"On many of the calls we receive, especially domestic calls, people expect us to show up and in less than 15 minutes fix a problem that took 15 years to create and it's unrealistic. We may end up issuing a citation or making an arrest, but in that kind of situation the courts usually end up making the decision to fix it for you."

If you don't fix your problems, you don't have much right to complain about the way someone fixes them for you. Especially if said problems affect society as a whole.
