US ends search for objects shot down over Alaska, Lake Huron

The U.S. military said late Friday that it has ended its search for airborne objects that were shot down near Deadhorse, Alaska, and over Lake Huron on Feb. 10 and 12.
The statement came hours after officials said the U.S. has finished efforts to recover the remnants of the large balloon that was shot down Feb. 4 off the coast of South Carolina, and analysis of the debris so far reinforces conclusions that it was a Chinese spy balloon.

Time to Vent! What a debacle that this administration has let slide while China created and dispatched a surveillance device attached to a huge balloon, launched it and it was allowed to traverse across a huge trajectory over the Aleutian Islands, Alaska, parts of Canada, down through Montana and continuing down through the Carolinas before be taken out! Thus, allowing China to secure key intelligence data about our Minuteman Missile III silo installations and other important military sites and they just let it happen before taking it out just off the Carolina coastline in approximately 50 feet of ocean. Very sad for our Country and we will most likely pay the price at some point... Just saying and like most of you I am apoplectic!!!

I thought they were jamming that thing anyhow. The president acted on the advice of the Pentagon. As far as the other balloons, I find it hard to believe they gave up the search or they are not telling us the whole story.
