APOD: 2020 March 5 - The Light, the Dark, and the Dusty

Good morning, Rallypoint. Today's Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) is titled "The Light, the Dark, and the Dusty." I could not help but hear the theme from "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" when reading today's APOD title. But the view is far from ugly. This panorama is located in the constellation Cepheus, about 2,400 light years from Earth. From the red emssion Cave Nebula (center) to the blue reflection vdB 155 (lower right and off frame) to the red flecks of Herbig-Haro objects (jets from newly formed stars) and abundant dust throughout (the dark patches), there is plenty of raw beauty to behold here.
