Thank you, my friend CW5 Jack Cardwell for posting the History Guy episode focused on the Raid on Makin Island (17–18 August 1942) which is the northernmost of the Gilbert Islands which was raid on that was an attack by the United States Marine Corps Raiders on Japanese military forces on the northernmost Gilbert Island (now known as Butaritari Island) in the Pacific Ocean.
By the way I have a tactical government printing office book focused on that raid that was developed soon after WWII ended.
