My friends, contacts brothers and sisters-in-Christ I decided it is high time to post an update.
This past Wednesday, I drove to Martinsburg, VA VAMC for blood-work and my virtual appointment with my VA oncologist. On the way, I saw the skunk cows resting in the shade of a large oak tree. By God's grace,I saw three freight trains during the day.
1. The appointment with the oncologist went well, my blood work results indicated no active cancer.
2. I got an appointment with Veterans Service Experience [replaced the patient Advocate] for help to get a diabetes monitor and help with the VBA to resolve the issue of them deducting over $21,000 from my tax-free disability pay for a military debt which I am contesting.
3. I went to Black Dog Coffee to buy a cup of coffee and a raspberry iced tea for my darling wife. They had musicians playing live and I learned that Wednesday is live music there.
I listened to April on South perform and learned she had a contract wit a British recording agency. I told her that her style reminded me of alternative blues/country music. She told me she enjoys 1970's folk, blues music, country music, and classic rock music.
I suggested many bands from Cowboy Junkies, through Fairport Convention, Jesse Colin Young, Quicksilver Messenger Service.
After she finished her set, I went to Five Guys Burghers and Fries in Ranson, WV for a meal and than went back to Black Dog to hear the final performer for the day.

By God's grace I was able to get an appointment with the Huntington, WV VA medical office for them to take a look at my request to stop VBA from taking funds from my tax-free Disability pay.
Additionally, I learned from VAMC that my primary care doctor approved my request for a glucose measuring device. Not only that I learned that I had been approved for an additional diabetes medicine.
On Thursday August 3, I am my darling wife will drive to Huntington, WV For my appointment with the VA center.
