I was issued three honorable discharges with DD Form 214, my friend SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL
DD 214 is not just for veterans but also for active duty, reserve component service members and their family members since it indicates benefits
My first DD 214 was issued on November 10, 1978 [transition from enlisted man to USMA cadet.]
My second DD 214 was issued on October 1, 1992 [involuntary separation as Regular Army officer and transition to USAR officer.
