Why would anyone try to portray such lovable characters as grumpy old soldiers, I could kind of see it with Oscar though...LOL

PV2 Larry Sellnow - My first BDE CSM put fear in everyone, you know "the mom look" he took it to the next level. If he did talk to you, you knew you really messed up.

PV2 Larry Sellnow - E-1 to E-6 if he talked to you , you messed up.
E-7 & MSGT if you had a combat patch, he might say something nice.
1SGT & Batt. SMAJ, talk to like a human.
O1-O4 he didn't know they were alive, saluted only if he had to.
O5 & up he'd talk to.

MSgt. Dale Johnson, We Weren't all grumpy and certainly not old. I was 19 and I'm sure a lot of soldiers of all wars weren't old. Most of our officers were in their 20's or 30's although the first sargents had some gray hair. Just kidding.

Thanks Joe for the muppets post. I never knew that anything about the muppets and Vietnam ever exhisted, After Nam I sat with my kids and watched the muppets. Thats how I learned that AGUA was spanish for water. Thats about all the spanish that I know. Its sad that the muppets and comic characters of my youth are now portrayed as woke. The liberal/comunist, dems have screwed everthing that was innocent up' We need a change soon.
