Good Tuesday Noon time Brothers and Sisters!

I've been working with a Veteran on his VA Claim and so have not had much time to post or respond, so my apologies to you all... Having said that, I bring you another set of images from the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST)!

The images taken by the JWST overnight are superb in my opinion and includes a spectacular image, titled Image-1 in the series... The scientific staff was able to pinpoint the location of Oumuamua, the celestial orbit that came from another solar system and passed through our solar system before traversing around our Sun and on out to deep space to return from whence it came! Here is a short synopsis of Oumuamua:

"The first known interstellar object to visit our solar system, 1I/2017 U1 ‘Oumuamua, was discovered Oct. 19, 2017 by the University of Hawaii’s Pan-STARRS1 telescope, funded by NASA’s Near-Earth Object Observations (NEOO) Program, which finds and tracks asteroids and comets in Earth’s neighborhood. While originally classified as a comet, observations revealed no signs of cometary activity after it slingshotted past the Sun on Sept. 9, 2017 at a blistering speed of 196,000 miles per hour (87.3 kilometers per second). It was briefly classified as an asteroid until new measurements found it was accelerating slightly, a sign it behaves more like a comet." NASA

Right now, Oumuamua is somewhere between the orbits of Uranus and Neptune and is moving at a rate of 1,486,000 miles (2,391,485 km) every 24 hours. The level of detail is absolutely amazing! Another image looks back at our home Milky Way Galaxy and is also quite impressive... Remember, FULL SCREEN ON THE LARGEST SCREEN YOU HAVE AVAILABLE!
