CW5 Jack Cardwell,
After leaving Active Duty in 1991 from the U.S. Army, I joined the 997th Ordinance Company (DS) in the Ohio Army National Guard. The Company was assigned to the 2nd Bn 174th ADA. A Hawk Missle Bn. The Bn had only been Hawk for about a year after receiving the Hawk Missles from the unit that closed down at Graf, Germany. Before there conversion, the 2nd Bn 174th ADA was an M42 Duster Battalion OHARNG. The Battalion would shoot them at Camp Perry, Ohio on the Range.
