I know a few restaurants owners. They all have the same basic two problems. Food prices are going up. We complain about the cost increase at the grocery store, restaurants have the same problem. Getting quality staff can be a nightmare. It is very difficult to hire staff when at time they can stay home and receive government handouts.

President Biden isn't responsible for all of it, but he's responsible for much of it.

In this case if president biden wouldn't have pursued the sanctions of iranian oil, the Houthis Would not be attacking shipping and The u s navy would not be spending over a Hundred million dollars shooting down their drones and attacking their bases. President biden was criticized for only doing defensive and not Offensive Operations in yemen. President Biden going from a defensive stance instead of striking all the missile batteries and depots and emboldened the Houthi enemies to strike again. He is a wimpy president who doesn't strike hard from the beginning.

He has done some attacks now but he waited over a month and retired admirals and generals were bringing this up on fox business.

Shipping rates will continue to climb so products that restaurants purchase abroad will idtrn be more expensive.

Restaurants are one of the toughest businesses out there. I made serious inquiries into opening one before I retired but once I got into the hard core data and talked about finance options the thought faded. My data is fom the 1990s but back then over 1/3 of restaurants failed within the first 24 months of opening. Given all that has gone on in the world since then, I'm guessing that ratio has gone up not down and isn't much affected by whomever is president.
