PNCOC DIRECTOR
Director of 25th Infantry Division NCO Academies Primary Non Commissioned Officer Course. Academy Director in Kahuku Training site. Site consisted of Barracks, Mess Hall, Office Complex, Arms Room, Day Room, and 5 buildings containing Classroom facilities. Armorer/Supply Sgt, Four Cooks and a Mess Sergeant along with 8 NCO Instructors were under my command. Reported directly to Deputy Commander/25th Infantry Division.

Laos
Special Operations assignment from 1st Special Forces Group (Okinawa) to (Top Secret) Project 404 in Laos. Worked with Hmong troops as Special Operator under command of Hmong General Van Pao in Long Tieng Laos. Additional Internal Short Term Special Operations assignment with US Embassy Security Service in Vientiane, Laos.

Special Operator with 5th Special Forces assigned to MACVSOG, Command and Control South (CCS). Montagnard Mortar Platoon Leader. Conducted Mortar Support Operations in Cambodia for MACVSOG C&C Recon Teams. Other Special Operations Short Term Assignments: C & C Liaison in Saigon and C & C Liaison In Nha Trang.

Vietnam War
FDC Chief, 196th Light Infantry Brigade at Tay Ninh in the western area of III Corps. Major Operations: Cedar Falls, Gadsden, Lancaster, Junction City, Benton, & Attleboro (Attleboro turned into a major action). 196th formed part of Task Force Oregon and moved to Chu Lai. TF Oregon was redesignated the 23rd Infantry Division (Americal) in Sep 67.

Door Gunner with 10th Combat Aviation Battalion (assigned to the 12 Aviation Group) in Dong Ba Thin. (Battalion was Redesignated in 2005 as the 10th Aviation Regiment).
