LTC Trent Klug Today's conservatives bear the closest comparison to Nazis that we've seen since the days of the Nazis, so ya, call them for what they are. Now I could be making a generalization on "all" conservatives but I just haven't seen any disagreement with the move towards authoritarianism that has become the hallmark of the current Republican Party. Since conservatives claim the Republican Party enshrine their beliefs, the massive lack of dissension tells me that they are in agreement with voting in the modern equivalent of the Nazi Party. Perhaps 50-60 years from now Conservatives will convey the same meaning that Nazis does today, but until then, in trying to allow others to understand what we don't want in the US, I'll call them what they are!
Not entirely sure what your rant about communism is about. Conservatives used to abhor it, today they want to embrace the leaders that rule under some variant of it rather than democracy.
