Another beautiful rendition of Maria Elena. I really like how Cooder and his band took a traditionally-known soft ballad and transformed it into a light jazz piece, complete with improv solos by Cooder's very talented band members. I've always loved listening to this version in addition to that of Los Indios Tabajaras.
