This week in Congress: Biden’s budget for fiscal 2024 makes its debut

The White House is expected to unveil its budget plans for next fiscal year on Thursday, and Congress will start debate on that proposal right away.
Posture hearings on the Defense Department and Veterans Affairs budgets start even before the administration’s planned release, with officials from multiple military commands scheduled to testify throughout the week.

Good morning, SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL, and thank you for this first look at President Biden's tentative budget debut for fiscal 2024... The key components in this budget should include minimal pork and maximum bang for the buck so to speak and must also make sure that it minimizes waste and non-citizen expenditures as well as expenditures to foreign adversaries like China, Russia, and Iran just to name three of our adversaries... I am sure it will be an interesting test of Congress's prudent analysis of what needs to be cut and what needs to be increased...
