73% of vets have negative view of Afghanistan withdrawal, poll shows

In a national poll, 73 percent of veterans said that the Afghanistan withdrawal negatively impacted the way they percieve the Global War on Terror.
Mission Roll Call, a veteran service organization that seeks to capture diverse perspectives of veterans and elevate their needs through policy advocacy, polled roughly 5,500 veterans about the pullout from Afghanistan.

At the outset of the conflict in 2001 when Mr Biden was a US senator, he outlined the long-term purpose of the American military intervention, saying: "Our hope is that we will see a relatively stable government in Afghanistan, one that… provides the foundation for future reconstruction of that country."
Biden, Dec 2019 - “I’m the guy that – as has been pointed out repeatedly – that thought we should not be going into Afghanistan.”
Today he assures Ukraine we're once again in for the long haul... Something tells me not to get too excited about that.
