Great song and video, brother Joe. If I could go back in time and be apart of Air Cav., I would have like being a door gunner on a Attack Helicopter. Great motivation for the Air Cav. And all that they fought and died for while protecting other's during the Vietnam War. Salute. and one big OOrah.

To qualify for LRRP at the time you had to pass some PT tests. The advantage of being one was you didn't make noise like a regular line unit and bush time was a lot less.

I bet they were adrenaline rush. I can just see getting an hot call and flying out on a hot LZ while getting shot at and retuning fire all at the same time. Thanks for the job you all did in Vietnam, brother.
Note; my older brother was in a Marine Hq unit in Vietnam while not assigned to a grunt combat unit they did take on sniper fire from roofs almost everyday there. As for me, only combat I saw was arresting drunk and combative Marines.
