Three years ago I was asked If I would like to contribute a "Command Post" about D-Day... I was a young 76 + Years old at the time, but I thought it would be great to participate in researching and writing this Command Post... I share it with you again today in Honor of the 78th Anniversary of D-Day... Both my Grand Father and my Father were Veterans of WWI and WWII respectively and I served during the Vietnam Era War...
I give a slow and steady Hand Salute to all those who died on this D-Day 78 years ago and I also salute all those who have died serving or having served our Country in all our preceding wars in the name of Freedom... May God Bless them one and all...

A couple of females were teaching a compassion and sensitivity training class at a Hospital I was working at. It was a mandatory class.
They stated they only spoke English while visiting France and were ashamed. I raised my hand and asked them about all the dead American warriors that died on French soil to ensure they could speak English would feel? They looked at me shocked. I kind of had a growl on my face.
Later, I had to go back to the next class and keep my pie hole shut this time. I'm all sensitive now after making it through the class.
