In place of my M16A2 with 126 extra rounds, M-60 and a 203 grenade launcher, I have an ultrasound machine, website and business cards. My company is at rally point. It will attack under a 3/4 moon, or storm when Medicare issues my provider-ship number.
My war is not in the classic sense. Medicare Provider-Ship granted 10/12/2016.

I was part of security on missile transfers. Time input off the top of my head. DD214 at home.
My last year of active duty was as an instructor at Camp Giger for 5th phase. The first Gulf war was over 100 hours after the air campaign stopped. I felt sorry for the enemy.
1991-1992 I was an squad automatic and 203 grenade launcher instructor at the School of Infantry inside Camp Lejeune. Mostly, we were in the field expending rounds, doing 10-20 mile humps, land navigation, setting up ambush and patrolling.
