March 31 is Transgender Day of Visibility and this year I’m reflecting on what it means to live as both a veteran and a trans person in 2022. On this day each spring, trans people celebrate the lives of those in our community who have made it this far and speak out about the ongoing discrimination we face.

Shameful that this is a topic that still requires discussion. They're vets who did the job, period!

Well, I gotta say, there are things in the article that I definitely don't agree with. Especially the VA paying for gender reassignment surgery.
I know that this will create a whole other conversation on defining what a woman is and what sex and gender mean, but that's what it usually comes down to.
