This is a sad post, but I'm glad you provided it.
My son was in BCT at Fort Jackson at the same time that recruits were run over by vehicles on a training range. My wife and I both are Veterans and encouraged him to serve so imagine what we dealt with knowing that TRADOC had become complacent with safety.
He lived and moved on... to Fort Hood. Imagine our horror with everything that has happened at Fort Hood over the past 3-5 years.
I am dyed in the wool Army but have honestly lost the full faith and confidence in our critical institution that is needed and deserved.
