White House officials announced a slate of ten nominations to key Veterans Affairs leadership posts on Wednesday, including a candidate to become the department’s first confirmed undersecretary for health in more than five years.
The list also includes the top VA official in charge of benefits and the chairman of the new Asset and Infrastructure Review Commission, charged with evaluating the department’s footprint across America over the next year.

SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL Let's hope he does what is in the best interest of the Veterans of this country and leaves politics at the door.

I hope he focuses on the backlogs. Things were looking good until June 2020 but now its in the 250K range. And with the PACT Act getting pushed through this could cause the backlog to go over 1 million.
I'm OK with adding benefits however there needs to be a coordinated effort on the backend to adjudicate claims quickly.
