Good morning Col Burroughs and Posse. Today I am working on Red Cross Disaster Training.
Clarity... I love it. It's amazing when people come in for counseling...how few can answer the questions about what they want or are trying to accomplish. Without clarity of goals, it's very difficult to get there. The more clarity you have about what you want and need the better your opportunity to be successful. If things are not happening as you wish, take a step back and evaluate your "vision" of where you want to go...if it's unclear, work that part first, before trying to find the way to get there.

Design your approach to your objectives and tweak it along the way to fit the situation. Your approach can be taking the hard left over the easy right. The road ahead can be very difficult, yet your design where you need to reach and the route best to achieve the objective.

Lt Col Charlie Brown - Great quotes this morning Charlie. You and Tom have a great evening...

“Today’s message is about one of the 5 C’s for Successful Healing: Courage, Clarity, Choice, Compassion, and Commitment. Getting clear is important when you’re on the path of healing. Getting clear requires exploration of options. Your clarity will be your own, no one can give it to you and it’s something you must discover for yourself.

‘Clarity — seeing things as they are and not as you imagine they are.’ — Unknown Author

Getting clear inside of yourself is vital regardless of what anyone else tells you. May this lead to clarity for you or for those you’re helping to regain and find clarity in themselves; may your mind, body, and soul be opened to grace, goodness, peace, forgiveness, and a continued bountiful life of purpose; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy. Clarity can lead to the right choices.” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

I hope that your vision of leadership for those who rely on you for leadership, advice, and decisions motivates and inspires them. No doubt you have put a great deal of thought into your role as a leader and you understand the hopes, dreams, strengths and weaknesses of those you lead and who rely on you individually and as a group. I pray that you submit your vision, plans and goals to the LORD and ask for HIS blessing. ‘Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand.’ [Proverbs 19:21 ESV] my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.

I pray that the LORD blesses each of us with clarity of focus on what our priority of effort, talents and resources needs to be. Lord I pray that YOU enable us to see clearly and hear clearly what YOU know we should do – day-by-day and hour-by-hour. For most of us improving personal relationships is near the top if not the most important for each of us. ‘Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. [Philippians 2:3-4 ESV]
I pray for trustworthy counselors, compassion towards and clarity of focus, for each of those living on fixed income who worked through their lifetime and/or were married to life-long workers [including widows, widowers and divorcees] ‘For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you.’ [Jeremiah 29:11-12 ESV]
I lift trustworthy elected officials, appointed officials, judges, leaders of business, industry, military, and informal leaders as well as leaders of families to YOU LORD. I pray for clear vision, steadfast character, trustworthiness and noble inspiration for each official, leader, and judge who is YOUR adopted child. ‘Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.’ [Philippians 4:8-9 ESV]
LORD let YOUR light and love shine through your adopted sons and daughters to the untrustworthy leaders, legislators and judges to convict them and if possible, draw them away from their evil focus to submit their will and life to YOU. ‘Do not be deceived - God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit, will reap eternal life from the spirit.' [Galatians 6:7-8 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members sleep well Saturday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Sunday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Good “Saturday!” Morning “Burroughs’ Posse Leader from a somewhat chilly SW Florida...

It is: “Clarity Day!” Do you see with Clarity?

"Clarity is essential. Knowing exactly what you want builds your self-confidence immeasurably." - Brian Tracy

"Without focusing and getting to clarity you cannot lead. You cannot motivate. You cannot plan. You cannot communicate." - Bobb Biehl

"One thing we've talked a lot about, even in the first leadership meeting, was, what's the purpose of our leadership team? The framework we came up with is the notion that our purpose is to bring clarity, alignment and intensity." - Satya Nadella

In simplicity and...

“With clarity, a leader can motivate and inspire a team and provide the direction toward success. A clear vision can build passion and create excitement that drives the team and leader even further!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good morning Col Burroughs and all the rest of my RP family. Many things in our lives cloud our ability to have clarity. Without clarity it is extremely difficult to accomplish goals. We would wander aimlessly trying to accomplish tasks that we have been given. I don’t t know about you, but when I am faced with such a dilemma, I turn to the source that can make things clear for me, and that of course would be our creator God. He loves us and wants good things for us, so when we earnestly go to him in the name of his Son, our Savior Jesus, God is faithful and true to grant our plea. This then gives clarity to what is before us. It brings me great pleasure to see the power of God working in my life, so that I may see things with clarity. Try it, you will may it. May you have a blessed day today and always.

Seeking Clarity
June 13, 2016 by JD Leave a Comment

Psalm 119:133 KJV - Christian Devotion
Silver Springs State Park – Silver Springs, Florida
Have you ever asked God to show you what He would have you to do? Then, just as He revealed the answer to you and you started following Him, you start to experience lots of oppositions from many sides as if you’re surrounded by minefields?

This summarizes our recent situation:

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

2 Corinthians 4:8-9 KJV

Have you ever felt as if you were being attacked left and right?

If you’re feeling overwhelmed with so much opposition around you yet you know in your heart that you must keep the faith and carry out what God has called you to do, “faint not”.

For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God. For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

2 Corinthians 4:15-18 KJV

Let us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus instead of on the things which are meant to discourage and dishearten us. Let us seek Him to find clarity. Let’s ask Him to order our steps and to protect us from allowing sin to take control of our lives especially during such tough times.

Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.

Psalm 119:133 KJV

Let’s not grow weary, my dear friend. Let’s keep the faith. Let’s wait on the Lord. He is faithful to deliver us. He will give us clarity and guide our next steps. He will never leave us nor forsake us! So, let’s hang on tight and take these verses to heart!

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Hebrews 13:5 KJV

and

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Galatians 6:9 KJV

Take action: If you’ve been going through a lot of stress lately or have been feeling lots of opposition from many sides, ask God for wisdom to guide your next step. Let’s not get ahead of God, He will lead us one step at a time. He will give us clarity. If you’ve been seeking clarity and direction in your life for a long time, turn to God’s light and He will carry you through. He will show you The Way.
