Born Wilkes-Barre, PA; Enlisted Army Reserve, 1950; Xfered to USAF 1952; Married 1957; 3 Children, 6 grand children, 7 great grand children; Assigned Cape Canaveral Air Force Station 1963; USAF Air Reserve 1978; Widower 1988; Recalled 1999 as a Command Pilot; Officially retired September 2014. Live in Titusville, FL, with my dog Little Tootsie.

Instructor Pilot
Train and certify all recalled pilots for the C130. Also my crew and I volunteered to participate in getting packages and mail to Ramstein, Germany, in time for the Christmas season - known as "Santa Claus Flight". Discontinued flights in 2009 per the POTUS. Short deployment to Afghanistan.

PIC of C130. Upgrading air drop procedures. Received wounds, evac to US, put in for retirement - approved for 18 September 2014.

Flew 1st Colalition aircraft into Baghdad Airport after being secured by ground troops.
