Started as a PVT w/the 211/109 MP BN NCARNG completing BT at Ft Jackson in 1983, then awarded a 3-yr ROTC Scholarship. Commissioned in MAY86. Ordered to AD w/101 ABN DIV Ft Campbell (CO FSO, BTRY FDO, Signal PLT LDR, BTRY XO, & S2 1-320 FA). Promoted to CPT, USAR/IRR. In the TNARNG, served as BN FDO, Firing BTRY CDR, & S1 1-115 FA. On promotion to MAJ, I was OPNS OFF for 130 SPT CTR (RAOC). Mobilized for OPN Joint Guardian KFOR 3A/3B as DPA ASG-Falcon (PROV), Camp Bondsteel. On demob, assigned as Asst OPNS OFF J3 JFHQ TNNG & ordered to AD for OPN Noble Eagle as the state's AT/FP Program MGR & later, as the Military LNO in the TN Gov’s Office of Homeland Security. Served as S3 1-115 FA & Asst OPNs/INTEL OFF 196 FA BDE. Selected as the BAO US Embassy-Bulgaria. Returning to CONUS as the SPP COORD. Promoted to LTC as the Regt’l FSCOORD 278 ACR & deployed to OIF in 09-10. Commanded RFS 278 ACR from SEP11-OCT14. Then ordered to active duty, assigned to TCM BCT-Fires, Ft Sill as the PGM NETT OIC. Selected for Army War College & upon promotion to COL assigned to JFHQ, TNNG Dep CoS J3/7 until retiring w/33 yrs.
