In a way we've been at war but it's more economic than military; right now there are a lot of folks not very happy as the global supply line has shut down and there are shortages of items they didn't even realize came from elsewhere. I don't think we are going to have a global war but I do think our relationships are going to change...

I can see that,,, Though that is an awful decision to have a Military Ship to fire on a Cruise Ship and try to force it to dock. Awful Decisions like that are how Skirmishes start.

This pandemic has shown the cracks in globalization. When you rely on other nations to feed you while you export one global resource, it's easy to see where the globalist failed... or succeeded if you believe in the one world government cabals.

Cpl (Join to see) - Their cracks are large. All globalism does is lower wages by moving 3rd world mid level profession skills into places where $25K takes years to earn in their country. Yet it is below the poverty level in the 1st world country where they are working.

If there is another world war, it will be over resources. We got a taste of it when Saudi Arabia and Russia tried to bigfoot the shale oil industry. And another taste when Trump played chicken with China over trade.
But what happens when the have-nots decide that they need to get what they need by force, ala Japan in 1941? Or the haves decide that national interests trump trade?
You'd end up with three to six countries that more or less have what they need (USA, Russia, China, Brazil, Canada, Australia, maybe India) and everyone else that doesn't. Worse, some of the remainder have an abundance of something, but not everything - countries like Ukraine and Argentina (agriculture), Saudi Arabia, gulf states, Brunei (Oil), or Africa (raw materials).
This is bad news for Europe. Same with the have-somes. There could indeed be a great power conflict over resources. Mercantilism only works if everyone is above board.
