Good morning, Rallypoint. Today's Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) is titled "Star Trail over Ragusa." Over the period of an hour, a camera affixed to a tripod on a terrace in the Sicilian town of Ragusa captured this skyscape. It was created through 230 exposures, each 15 seconds long. The star at the center is Polaris, the North Star. Did you know there is a South Star? Its name is Polaris Australis, in the circumpolar constellation Octans.

Maj Marty Hogan Have you thought about some paintings or other art that enhance your theme then many coats of polyurethane? They did that when building a bar where I used to work and it turned out fantastic.

Maj Marty Hogan That sounds perfect. Thinking back to one of my wife's craft projects, if you go that route seal the coasters before coating with poly.
