Thank you, my friend SSG(P) (Join to see) for making us aware that Navy Secretary Richard Spencer plans to nominate the three-star former head of Navy’s Cyber Command Vice Adm. Michael Gilday to become the 32nd chief of naval operations, a deep selection for the sea service’s top officer unseen since 1970.
Background: Vice Adm. Michael Gilday has been the Director of the Joint Staff since March 1, 2019 will be promoted over his four-star colleagues, who will stay at their current commands.
Best wishes for success for soon-to-be Adm. Michael Gilday and the United States Navy.

Talk about deep selection.

WIKI

“There are currently 41 active-duty four-star officers in the uniformed services of the United States: 13 in the Army, 5 in the Marine Corps, 8 in the Navy, 12 in the Air Force, 2 in the Coast Guard, and 1 in the Public Health Service Commissioned Corps”

Apparently that's what happens when the rules are changed mid-game; future GOFO's best not be continuing any type of relationship with someone who fell out of favor with the establishment. The message is loud and clear - We will deep-six every person known to have had contact with anybody under investigation at anytime during their career.
