Recent Activity  -

Military Experiences

Jul 1993 - Apr 1994
HC-3 Training Squadron
Weapons Division, responsible for training aircrew on weapons, chaffs, and flares that are incorporated into CH-46 helicopter weapon systems. I trained them on safety, maintenance, storage, a handling of all weapons and components related to the CH-46.
Dec 1991 - Jan 1993
Ships Armorer USS Ranger CV-61
Best job in the Navy. I was the duty armorer onboard the USS Ranger CV -61. I was responsible for all small arms onboard the ship. I and my division clean, inspected, handled, stored, and sometimes fired all weapons of the USS Ranger. We were also responsible for maintaining all of her sprinkler systems for all weapons magazines onboard. To say the least, we had one of the most interesting jobs in the Navy, and I enjoyed being a part of such a crew. I was onboard for the USS Ranger's final voyage in 1993. We were also one of the first ships to support Operation Restore Hope in Somalia.
