Thank you for the excellent video. I grew up in the Philippines and appreciate the big picture of the Pacific War due to the abundance of Islands we invaded. The Japanese broke a cardinal rule by attacking in a column formation. I believe it is called crossing the T. Attacking a column formation allowed us to mass fires on the ships.

Many of the older Filipinos loved America and Americans. However, the politicians who are very wealthy focused on their pride for independence, eschewing what we did for them. Now they are lead by an absolutely crazy president.
