Thank you CW5 Jack Cardwell for showing an image of what my paternal grandfather John Ford wore in WWI along with his brother. He fought in the Gallipoli campaign of 1915 and on the western front in France and Belgium.

LTC Stephen F. check out a show/mini series called Our World War. It is a show that uses the correspondences from a few British soldiers during WWI and gives you a somewhat of a feel for how things were. There are only a few episodes, but I found them all very intriguing.
