Great pistols, obviously by the many loyal owners.
Don't want to deal with the weird grip angle. I'm very happy with my Sig P320 (as I'm sure everyone knows by now).

PO1 John Crafton - Have you replaced the trigger on your glock? If so, what did you use?

I haven't fired the P320, I have some experience with the 226 and 229. My personal favorite is the H&K USP45. love the way it fits my hand.

Different strokes...my husband makes fun of me because I'm loyal to glock- he talks until we get to the range, then I proceed to quiet him down.(wink) Like I've said before, with the arthritis, I need something that doesn't have too much of a kick (broke my wrist 7 times, after a while it feels like it's shaking loose) and I also need an easy slide pull. For my CCW, I carry my glock 40 cal, VERY little kick, comfortable in my hand, easy slide- win win.
Bottom line, as long as the bad guy goes down, it's a good day.

I wonder if this applies only to Active Duty, or also applies to veterans, Guard, and Reserve.

Disregard my comment, also sorry for the trail blazer. After a brief read, I found my answer.

PO1 John Crafton -
I usually purchase my firearms from Cabelas. They offer a 5% discount (used to be 10%) to veterans. I live in a sales tax free state as well, so it surely helps.

I'm currently running the Ruger LCP. Neat little thing. The trigger pull is smooth, however it's long and heavy. It wouldl get the job done if in a pickle though. Maybe check out the Glock 27 (or 43 if you want to conceal even more)? The trigger isn't bad at all, and the sight may need to get changed, but that's an easy replacement.
If you don't like to replace triggers, don't get the M&P. Great gun, feels better in your hands than a Glock, however their trigger is shit.

I knew that police supply stores had better prices but I didnt realize that it came directly from Glock. That just gives me one more reason to like them. Now I need to go convince my wife to let me buy more.
