When I was Station at FOB#2 which at the time was The Navy Annex, we visited the Tomb of the Unknowns many times.

I am thankful for the tireless efforts of the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency which has worked not only to locate, identify and recover remains of fallen service members OCONUS but also worked to identify the unknown remains. Hopefully this century there will be no unknown remains at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The remains of the Vietnam War unknown have already been identified.

Hopefully the single WWI remains, two WWII remains and one Korean War remains will be identified. I also hope that many of the unknown remains buried in other national cemeteries will be identified.
