During basic training if I have trouble sleeping at night, will I be able to go to medical to receive sleep medication?

From what I remember, none of us slept well. Up at 0430, then be in formation by 0445 (plenty of time to crap, shave, make up your bunk and get yourself squared away).
After you PT for about an hour, you are marched back to barracks, about 0600, to shower and shave.
The formation for chow will start around 0615.
The rest of the day will be a blur, and you will finally be allowed to try to get sleep at around 2300.
Rinse, wash, repeat, LOL.
Sleep deprivation is part of any agencies basicentrance schooling.
In basic training I had trouble sleeping, but I am glad I did, because persevering through adverse situations is the goal.
I have never heard of a situation such as this which you are asking information. I will tag some friends who may be able to help.
Thank you for your service, and thank you for reaching out for help SPC (Join to see). Many people are not aware of the 12M MOS, and the absolute pleasure you can have in that field.

Thanks SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth. I never worried about lack of sleep, we just appreciated it when we got it! LOL

Hahahaha..... Trust me.... Falling asleep is not a problem in Basic. You'll pass out before you head hits the pillow. It will feel like the lights are back on before your head hits the pillow, too.
