Alrighty then. His decision was on Wednesday. There have been a couple of States that passed the "No guns under 21" this year and are in court defending that legislation. Since, Senior Judge Robert Payne of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, is relatively low on the chain His decision will undoubtedly be appealed. I would not be surprised if there weren't already motions to stay his decision filed. But, for a moment, it's a win for the 2A.

Yeah, that whole law never should've seen the light of day. I know folks wholeheartedly disagree with not being able to legally buy and consume tobacco and alcohol until 21, but those aren't in writing as rights. The 2nd Amendment and relevant state Constitutions clearly spell out the right of a lawful private citizen to lawfully retain and use firearms.
Not to mention: service members sometimes have bad things happen to them and get medically discharged before their time is up, and they're not all 21 or older. I guess we're going to try to deny them the right to keep and bear arms also? (Not my POV, just making a presumption on that law since I haven't actually read any of it; let alone the whole thing).

I am curious to see it alcohol sales follow. If you can drive a tank through Baghdad at 18, you should be able to buy a beer.
