Bio
Nine years enlisted USAR and one OIF deployment. I spent the first years as a CBRNE/NBC soldier specializing in HAZMAT Ops before re-classing to Civil Affairs in 2009. Deployed to Iraq attached to 1-82 FA; 1CAV and 4-31 10MTN out of camp Taji and COP Carver (Al-Mada’in). Framingham State alum working at RallyPoint. True story, I was once in an Army commercial.

Team Leader
Assesses and determines the capabilities and effectiveness of Foreign Nation (FN)/Host Nation (HN) government functions systems (governance; public health & welfare; infrastructure; rule of law; economic stability; and public education and information) and the impact of these functions on Civil Affairs Operations and Civil Military Operations. Advises, facilitates, and assists in restoring, establishing and organizing government functions as directed. Coordinate resources to support CAO and CMO. Assesses and determines the impact of military operations on FN/HN government functions.

OPCON from 1479 CA Co. Worked with local commanders to assess local infrastructure, and community influencers in order to advise US leaders in CMO. Coordinated meetings with local contractors to facilitate working relationships with Iraqi government and complete civic projects to foster economic and cultural stability.

Conducted over 200 missions and key leader engagements in Baghdad governorate. Conducted assessments of civil capabilities and infrastructure, providing recommendations to commanding officers. Worked with Human Terrain Teams (HTT/HTS) and State. Dept. ePRT. Attached to 1-82 FA "Dragons"; Camp Taji and 4-31 "Polar Bears"; COP Carver.
