A former Defense Department intelligence official sexually harassed a subordinate on two occasions, according to a Pentagon inspector general report released Thursday, but will face no discipline, as he retired last year while the investigation was ongoing.
Jacques Grimes, who had served as a director in the office of the defense undersecretary for intelligence and security since 2016, twice while on official travel made sexual advances toward a junior member of his team, the investigation found, though Grimes denied the incidents when questioned.

A former Defense Department intelligence official sexually harassed a subordinate on two occasions, according to a Pentagon inspector general report released Thursday, but will face no discipline, as he retired last year while the investigation was ongoing.
Jacques Grimes, who had served as a director in the office of the defense undersecretary for intelligence and security since 2016, twice while on official travel made sexual advances toward a junior member of his team, the investigation found, though Grimes denied the incidents when questioned.

Why isn't civilian law enforcement involved????
This situation could be presented before the presiding grand jury and the grand jury could indict the predator. . . .

Ahh, nope. Happened in service, so jurisdiction lies with government. Unless, she goes civie and it gets a different feel to it. Not often, unless pictures, video, DNA and the likes. I remember a similar situation with a former President, yes?

And? This is a surprise for you? One of two prominent actions happened. He came on to her, she got pissed, made a huge issue of it or she wanted him, he said no, she lied and made a bigger deal about it. Usually winds up being a he said, she said. Both careers ruined in the process.
