Much to do about his service when very little was said about his predecessor who served 41 years, an Infantry Officer, from rifle platoon leader, right on up to the top.

LTC Trent Klug
Lots was of Austin while he was SECDEF. I'm sure he was a decent officer but his tour as SECDEF is marred by the Afghanistan withdrawal and the covid terminations.
