MAJ Ken Landgren
SP5 Mark Kuzinski - I ran a mile today. I swear I think of death with every step I take.

Thanks. I am humbled by my my knowledge I was a star athlete in high school. I had a string endurance. Those times are long gone. When I run a mile it feels like a thousand deaths. The next I run it feels like 999 deaths. I dread running but tell myself not to quit, and I feel so inept considering the greatness. people have achieved.
I hope your day is bright tomorrow. SP5 Mark Kuzinski

That sounds very familiar to me Ken. About 10 years ago two of my sons want to run in the Detroit Marathon and I said that that was something I always wanted to do. I hadn't run in anything since I could remember when and I was 63 when I started Training - I thought I was going to die!!!! The training was harder than the 26.2 miles that I ran in Detroit. Not a great pace but I did finish. For the next 6 years the three we picked a different State to run in. My middle son did full marathons and his brother and I did the 1/2 marathons. After 6 years my age and knees finally gave out and now I ride a bike for my exercise and my knees never felt better. I ride at least 12d - 15 miles each and every day. Bottom line - set a goal and you can do it. Go for it brother.
