There's still the issue of Grieving the Holy Spirit.. and even in the New Testament , when some come to Heaven, they will see Christ and He will say, " I never knew you. As well as some will say, Lord, Lord and be sent away, some may be a black-heart and try to say, His blood covered all my sins so,.. i'm guaranteed entry... they to will be turned away.
God knows you and your reasons since before you were born. God can decide as a Holy God. Christ Knows your Heart. God will dismiss you out of hand. Christ's intervening for us , if we know that His is the only plea we have. Our Heart and our mind lay as a spread sheet before them.
Self-assuredness is something that we can not have. Christ will know your Heart and your motivations, He decides to vouch for you or not.

Amn Dale Preisach PV2 Scott Mollette - We have judgement because everyone will have judgement, both the righteous and the unrighteous...the difference is our savior Jesus Christ will say this ones debts are paid as he/she accepted me and the others will be cast away to eternal hell. Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess but not all will go to Heaven. Seperation of the sheep and the goats.
Once you truly believe in God and have accepted Jesus as His son and you have confessed your sins and know that Jesus was born of a Virgin, lived a sinless life, died a torturous death on the cross as an atonement for your sins, was raised from the dead on the third day and sits at the right hand of God, the devil himself cannot pluck you out of God's hand.

Lt Col Scott Shuttleworth even a one horse race can be lost if the horse injures itself.
We hold our Salvation in the palm of our hands. We can lose it if we are full of self. Many think once saved always saved and act like an ass to people . See indulgences... i believe our Heart and our mind is what will be searched by Christ and God. If we thought we were " Saved" and became a part of the World body instead of Christ's body, we will by our own accord and freewill, lose our redemption.

PV2 Scott Mollette - True in whole. If you are truly saved and I mean truly saved you willlive for God. Once you accept him as Lord and Savior no one nor nothing will/can take you away from Him!

Lt Col Scott Shuttleworth even Peter went through torment and Trials on the Road to Rome. But he did not waiver in the End. Which is unbelievably difficult , then as now.
He held Agape love for Christ in the end. As Christ does for him when Christ was on the Cross.
