A federal jury has awarded four protesters $680,000 and concluded that Seattle police “acted with malice, reckless disregard, or oppression” when they arrested them for writing anti-police graffiti in chalk outside of the East Precinct in 2021.
After the officers arrested and booked the protesters, they were held overnight in jail despite a ban on booking suspects of misdemeanor offenses during the pandemic.

We have seen in Seattle, Portland, Chicago, New york city, Washington d c when you have Dickhead District attorneys Like alvin bragg. They won't prosecute Misdemeanors Unless your president trump and they upgrade it to a felony even though it's against the law.

SEATTLE (AP) — The Seattle Police Department has said that more than 200 officers left their jobs since last year, citing an anti-police climate in Seattle, City Council policies and disagreements with department leadership.
