Such extreme, prolonged heat is directly related to human-caused climate change, scientists say. All the extra carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere traps heat, and leads to more intense, frequent and persistent heat waves, and other extreme weather such as powerful hurricanes and heavy rain storms.

Yeap, I wonder of the climate change, what goin to be the next, extreme weather, more hurricane and Tornado around the globe. Here in the island we got extreme temperature over 110 degree.

We cut back on our emissions. Stupid President Biden Is becoming a tyrant by this obeying the supreme court and making up his own executive actions to get rid Is of fossil fuels at four sides to go electric in the Next decade even though we know it doesn't work for everyone. President Biden is a threat to society and our enemies will continue to use natural gas Is coal and fossil fuels way past 2060.

I am not a climate denier.I'm just saying that all the trillions of dollars we can spend makes no difference especially if china and india are the biggest polluters. They claim they will not be able to do anything until 2060. Why should we have the inflation reduction act?Bribe other countries to go green? Why should $360 billion Hidden in the inflation reduction act be used to force other countries to buy hardware made in china. Is that hardware is made by electricity made from Coal-fired power plants.
I am not worried. I will still use commercial travel. I don't care what Biden Climate Nazis or Greta Thundberg says.

China is building six times more new coal plants than other countries, report finds
China permitted the equivalent of two new coal plants a week last year according to a new report. The country is also rapidly expanding its renewable energy.

You seem to be the only one who gives a crap what China is doing. The rest of the free world fully embraces the concept of cutting back on fossil fuel use. Is it going to happen over night, no, but in a hundred years fossil fuels will be looked at the same way that we look at the use of horses today.

Yep. And I wonder if, just like the super oxygenated air that the dinosaurs breathed - which if we went back in time would literally drown us and allowed bugs to hit six feet or more- will cause us to alter our biology too. Maybe bigger lungs, or more efficient gas exchange inside our lungs. We are still evolving, so let’s see if we can keep up.
